Bachelor test | 2014

With context: The concept is about urban farming. The front-side of the building is the architype of an old barn. At the backside of the building there are a lot of greenhouses. The greenhouses work like a curtain window. They’re also taking care of the privacy of the inhabitants. People who live in there can live by selling grocery, giving workshops and maintaining others people allotment.

Without context: Four houses, connected with a restaurant was wat the assignment obliged. Those four houses need to have four different themes: wheelchair, active-passive, light-massive and garden. An important aspect in this design are the borders. It needs to be clear for guests in the restaurant that they can’t go to the apartments. The borders are made out of lowered ceilings, raised floors, walls and furniture.
